If you’ve been intrigued by what you’ve learned so far about Gratitude Village and want to experience more before making a firm commitment, the Explorer level is for you. This stage offers a meaningful way to engage with the project and the people shaping it—while deciding if this unique, collaborative lifestyle is the right fit for you and your household.

As an Explorer, you’ll move beyond curiosity into real participation—attending full-group meetings, engaging in webinars and hands-on workshops, and contributing to the early planning of Gratitude Village. This is your opportunity to learn how our community operates from the inside out, while connecting with others who share your values around sustainability, affordability, and belonging. Whether you're lending a hand with event planning or diving into deeper discussions on governance, equity, or green design, your voice and contributions matter.

• Participate in full-group meetings and planning sessions
• Engage in interactive workshops on governance, design, and sustainability
• Access online learning through the Cohousing Institute with our community membership
• Help with small tasks like research, outreach, or mentoring new Inquirers
• Connect socially with other Explorers and Founding Members
• Learn what cohousing really looks like—before making a larger financial commitment

💰 Cost: $150 for six months, renewable at $75/quarter ($300/year). If you decide to become a Founding Member, your Explorer fees are credited toward your home purchase.
